If you’re reading this blog, you must love LEGO like us. If that’s true and you live in Perth, then this Sunday is a day not to miss. The Perth LUG (Lego Users Group) are holding their next Minifigapalooza Buy and Sell day. It’s a great event that runs from 2pm to 5pm and has a massive range of LEGO for sale. There’s new sets, old sets, minifigs and mixed LEGO.
If the chaos in the pic above fills you with dread, I’ve got great news. Due to the roaring success over past events, the team have now doubled the space for sellers which will give everyone a little more room.
Pro-tip: If you see something you like, grab it. Last year there were a couple of great speed champions sets for sale at very reasonable prices. I thought to myself – “I’ll just see what else is around on the first lap first”. Alas, by the time I made it back (5 mins later), they were already sold.
If this sounds like fun, then head on down to the John McGrath Hall and Pavillion (97 Hensman St, South Perth WA 6151) on Sunday 20th November between 2pm and 5pm to satisfy your LEGO hunger.
Entry is free, but if you leave without spending any money on LEGO, you’re far more disciplined than us. Some sellers will have EFTPOS/Payid etc but others are cash only, so recommend you plan accordingly.
We’re selling some of our LEGO at the event too. You can find us crying in the corner after we spend more than we earn selling on our new LEGO purchases. Hope to see you there!
I didn’t make it, due to having by computer and phone both hacked and no access to my bank account. Probably saved me some serious dollars. Hopefully next time.
haha. I’m sure it did.
Was a great event and hopefully next year it will be held twice a year.
