LEGO have announced a set that merges two huge fanbases – LEGO obsessives and sneaker heads. The adidas Originals Superstar kicks!
Available on the 1st July for $159.99, the set lets you build your very own display of the original adidas sneaker. With real laces and the ability to build either a left or right sneaker, every sneaker fan should be right at home.
Although some might be outraged by others doing so, it looks like there’s plenty of customisation possible. The sneaker has plenty of spare studs to use to add flair and personalise your very own adidas sneaker. The English LEGO site has a tonne of cool examples for you to check out. If you compare the sneaker to the real thing, LEGO looks to have nailed it. I particularly think the traditional sneaker box is epic and a great touch. The set also comes with a stand so you can display your set with pride.
